It's a long time since I have been here.

It been 7 months since I posted anything on my blog, had thought to close it altogether but thought might post a few makes to see if I get any response.  You will have probably realised I had stop being on the TIOT DT a while ago, I had been on the team for a very long time but due to ill health, difficult problems with posting and sadly the change in direct of the team and the folks I knew on team leaving.

Here's a few makes for today post

My offering for TIOT challenge.

A simple card this week.

I hope you can see the shimmer on the clouds, the stamps are from stampin up. It is a simple card but I like kiss cards.  The clouds are made with an embossing folder and the image of the plane is fussy cut.

For my team mates projects and the rules of the challenge go here.

Thanks for looking, I look forward to seeing your projects.

A box or a bag, this is my DT project for the TIOT challenge.

Hi
This is an interesting challenge lots of scope, here's the link to the challenge on TIOT I do hope you will join us I look forward to seeing your projects.

Dee and I are doing a craft sale soon, so we set too making some boxes.  You have three for the price of one.

It's a picture heavy post, we used the curvy keepsake to make the boxes and various dies and some hand cutting to make the characters, the snow mans smile has been restored.  Sorry about the poor light, it has been dark for days.

Hugs Bee.

TIOT DT project create a scene.

This week the challenge is create a scene so lots of scope you have two weeks to create a project, you will find all the details here and also my team mates projects.

This is a shorter post, again I have had problems setting up the post but such is life.

It is again a shadow box card, this time using a stampin up set of stamps.  I have been creating this card with a few new  paper crafters over the last few weeks. I did have another project for the challenge but the pictures would not upload whatever I tried and no chance of further photos as it's on  it's way to someone in the post so no chance of pictures.  Then the light became poor so it's spotlights everywhere for the new project.
Here's another picture.

Looking forward to seeing your projects.

Hugs Bee.

Lots of Layers TIOT challenge.

Hi Everyone
Think the title of this post should perhaps be lots of cross, as it has taken me a hour to schedule the post time.

There is lots of layers in my project for the challenge  over 500 in total if you count all the folds as one layer, if you want the basic layers then it's only 12 if you exclude the flowers.

This is a book fold for a class I am going to take for folk  who have not folded before, it's fairly straight forward and the flowers are easy to do after a little practice.

It's a Readers Digest book and the pages that have been removed from the front and back of the book have been used to created the flowers.

The flowers are called Kusudama, it's an origami flower any size square can be folded to make the petal you need between five and six petals to make each flower.

Here's some picture of the project.  Thanks for looking, I look forward to seeing you take on the theme, the rules and my team mates great projects are here.

Tiot challenge, it's frightening.

Well this was an epic, spent several hours making a project for this challenge only to not be able to find it, the lovely Dee has put it somewhere safe, hopefully I will be able to use it in another challenge if it's found spooky or what !

Here's my card I made this afternoon, it's a  diorama card, thanks to the lovely Janet for sharing a brilliant tutorial from Linda an Australian stamping up demonstrator for the diorama card design, the decoration is mine.

I used a stampin up set for the images on the card, there's some heat embossing on the card, it's something I have not done for ages until recently now I keep doing it !

Looking forward to seeing all your lovely projects, my team mates great projects are here and also the rules of the challenge.

Have a great week.  Hugs Bee.

Autumn colours/leaves TIOT challenge

This again was made at a class taught by Janet, I love 3 D projects.  As you can see lots of lovely leaves, not autumn colours but this is leaves in abundance.

Looking forward to seeing your entries.  The rules and my team mates projects are here.

Tuesday 15 September 2015

Add some metal TIOT challenge.

Here's my offering for this week.
I do hope you can see the metal, it's two silver hearts on the ribbon.  This was a free stamp from creative stamping, it just said love to me, I coloured it with pro markers.  You can see the rules for the challenge and the great creation from my team mates here.

Hugs Bee.

Try Something New TIOT challenge.

This was certainly something new for me but it may not seem so at first glance.  I used a Gelli plate for the first time,  I used various stencils to create the pattern.  I don't think the Gelli plate is for me, might try the same thing with a large block or glass board.  I used a free stamp set from quick cards and some gems. I also tried Brusho's out at the same session but that's for another post.
Sorry for shadows around the picture, it poor light.
Looking forward to seeing your entries, don't forget you can see the other DT projects here and check on our entry rules.

Show us some flowers

This is my card for this weeks challenge, the challenge has been to create the post, I wish blogger would update to accept the newer software that is around.

I cannot claim any credit for the design of this card, I took a class with the lovely Janet last week and this is one of the cards we made, it is mostly stampin up products from the 2015 catalogue, but the words are from the free stamp set from last months quick cards.

The leaves, sun and words are stamped flat and the flowers and butterfly are punched or cut out and raised up on 3d foam.

For the rules of the challenge and to see my team mates great projects go to the TIOT blog here.

Look forward to seeing your entries.

Hugs

TIOT challenge my DT offering.

I found myself away kitty sitting again and with very few crafting supplies, I thought I had photographed my project for the challenge but no such luck, so I have tried my best LOL.

The flowers remind me of some beautiful orange flowers my grandmother had in her garden, I cannot remember the name of them, but they were always stunning.

I used a foam stamp, four ink pad, a water brush, a little patterned paper and a small card.

The picture is not great, I had edited it on my phone but it still bought up the original picture I took.

You will find all my great team projects and full details of the challenge here.

In the frame challenge on TIOT.

Hi
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine here in the UK and the interesting thunder storms, and to those that live elsewhere in the world hope your weather is okay.

This weeks challenge is In the frame you will find details of the challenge and see my team mates great work here.

This is my take on the challenge, I used hero arts stamps and dies and also some memory box dies, I coloured the images with pro markers and added some wink of stellar. The frame card is made by cutting two pieces of card the same size and then scoring at 1/2 inch and 1inch from each end of both pieces of card. An aperture is then cut in the middle of one of the pieces of card and the the inner card is decorated and both ends are joined together as shown in the picture.
Hope you have a great week.
Hugs

TEA CUPS challenge on TIOT

Hi
I have been absent for a week or two, due to kitty sitting and mixing up my challenges, oh dear it's a good job my DT team are patient with me.

I really enjoyed making this card, paper piecing one of my favourite techniques.  The stamp is one of the new gorguss girls, I really like these, the papers are old ones from my stash and the ribbon is stampin up.

Sorry about the shadow, the picture was taken outside in the only sunshine of day, which was late evening, the weather is not good up here in the north.

I look forward to seeing your projects, lots of inspiration from my team mates here on the TIOT blog
